Beauty Blender Drama

So a lot of the YouTubers I follow have given nothing but excellent reviews on the beauty blender. Therefore I figured that this $25 egg shaped sponge would be well worth the investment.

It really truly is. I don't care what you are doing. Please drop everything and go out and buy one of these. I even convinced one of my best friends to purchase this little beauty, and she is a die hard brush fan. In fact, the moment she realized that I didn't own my own make-up brush she ran out to Ulta and bought me one. It was really sweet, so I did feel a wee bit of betrayal as I purchased this beauty blender.

Anyways, this little sponge did more amazing things for me than I could ever do on my own with a brush. However, I went to clean it for the first time yesterday, and instead of make-up washing off of the beauty blender, pink liquid was coming out of it instead. I was using the correct soap and everything. Worried that this was a defect and the pink liquid was the magic behind the beauty blender seeping out, I emailed Sephora and asked if my beauty blender was losing it's magic.

Turns out it was a defect, and it is indeed losing it's magic. :( whomp whomp.

However, might I add HUGE kudos to Sephora's customer service? I sent that email on a Sunday night and they got back to me within the hour.

Alas, I am not going to have time to run to the mall tomorrow, but at some point this week I'll get over there and exchange it. I have to go to the library too, so that will work out perfectly.

Okay I have been super distracted typing this blog, and it's taking me forever. Steve and I are half playing trivia crack and half watching this ocean documentary on Netflix. I'm going to go now, see what these sharks are up to.
